Riding your bike no longer means you are out of touch while on the road. This rugged, motorbike-specific sat nav comes with its own headset for clear spoken navigation no matter what the road noise.
The zūmo® 220 with scala rider headset is the ultimate motorcycle bundle. You get in-the-ear instructions from your zūmo directing you wherever you want to go. If the road noise gets a bit too much or you increase your driving speed and simply need more volume, the scala rider will automatically adjust the sound level for you while you focus on keeping safe and steady.
Made for bikers
zūmo 220 has a bright, glove-friendly, colour touchscreen display. The intuitive interface makes entering information as easy as changing gear. But make no mistake, this is not a car navigator dressed up as a biker. It’s built tough. With its rugged waterproof case that resists fuel spray and UV rays, zūmo 220 is built for life on the road.
With trip information such as heading, altitude and a customizable fuel gauge you have all the information you need at your fingertips. To make your journey even better, a planning DVD is included so you can prepare ahead. Create custom routes via your computer and then transfer your saved journey directly back to the unit – it couldn’t be easier.
Go Your Own Way
zūmo 220 is preloaded with street maps for Europe and millions of points of interest (POIs) such as hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, cash points and more. It features voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names. It also displays speed limits for most major roads. In addition, zūmo 220 has Lane Assist to help guide you to the proper lane for complicated motorway and major route exits and junctions.
A perfect partnership
The zūmo 220 and the scala rider Solo are the perfect partnership. The scala rider transmits turn-by-turn navigation from the zūmo via Bluetooth® wireless technology to give you high-quality audio and clear directions at all times. It even responds to ambient noise and vehicle speed to automatically adjust the volume so you don’t have to.
Suitable for most types of helmet (full-faced and ¾ helmets) it comes with two ultra-slim speakers which are also perfect for the more narrow helmets. It has up to 8 hours talk time/ 1 week (standby).
As you’d expect for a rugged, motorbike-friendly product, the scala rider is durable and waterproof (IP67). Above all, it is easy to install and team up with the zūmo 220 to provide great spoken navigation on two wheels.
It is also possible to listen to your MP3 player via your scala rider as well as make and receive mobile phone calls.
