The Garmin aviation training team will host 5 GTN pilot training courses July 22 to 26 during EAA AirVenture at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Oshkosh, WI airfield, 1355 W. 20th Ave.
The one-day courses will explore and maximize the navigation and terminal procedure capabilities available on the GTN. The seminars use real world scenario-based training to teach effective and efficient flight operations with an emphasis on flight planning and instrument procedures.
Each registrant will receive hands-on experience, working with his or her own desktop training kiosk equipped with a GTN 750 and GTN 650 glass flight display. In addition to lunch served on the patio overlooking the airfield, each participant will also receive a free 3-month IFR premium subscription to Garmin Pilot (a $25 value) as well as a $50 credit to be used toward future Garmin pilot training events.
Seminars start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 2:30 p.m. each day.
